The helpline will provide confidential emotional support, information, support and understanding during a crisis, promote coping strategies and self-management to help the caller work towards their recovery. We can help put callers in touch with other organisations. Calls to the helpline will not show up on landline or most mobile phone bills and calls are free from landlines and most mobiles. The helpline is confidential unless we are seriously concerned about the caller’s safety or the safety of others or if we are legally obliged to break confidentiality (such as to report a serious crime).
The start date for the service is Sunday 1st March 2009 at 6pm. The
helpline will be available Monday and Friday 4pm-9pm and Saturday and
Sunday 6pm-11pm and the phone number is ![]()
