This year's campaign is focused on making a real difference in workplaces across the country. We'll be showing employers how prevalent mental health is in the workplace and the simple steps they can take to support individuals with experience of mental distress.
All our research has told us that the best way to make employers understand mental health is to give them real life examples. In an ideal world we'd get all the employers together and give you the chance to speak to them direct. Instead we'd like to do the next best thing - get your experiences down on paper and ensure employers read about them.
As always we are keen to hear about the experiences of everyone but weare particularly interested if:
- you've benefited from an employer's positive attitude to mental health and mental wellbeing.
- you have an existing mental health condition and your employer has made adjustments to enable you to work.
- you have worked for an organisation employing less than 250 people
We understand that this can be a sensitive issue and we will ensure that your anonymity is protected. If you are also interested in speaking out about these issues, Mind's media team can support you to do so.
