The overall aim of Dementia Choices is to explore, support and promote different forms of self-directed support, including direct payments, individual budgets and personal budgets for people living with dementia and their carers.

Project Lead for Dementia Choices is Toby Williamson (Head of Development) and Neil Mapes is Project Consultant with particular responsibility for the pilot site activity. The project is receiving support and advice from a reference group made up of key individuals with expertise and experience in the field, including people with dementia and family carers.
