Care Services Minister, Ivan Lewis, has launched a consultation on the future of dementia services. 'Transforming the quality of dementia care – consultation on a National Dementia Strategy' outlines the Department of Health proposals for improving the quality of dementia care under 3 key themes – raising awareness, early diagnosis and intervention, and improving the quality of care.
