The Primary Care Trust organises hospital, mental health and learning disability services for the people who live in the area. They also provide community services including community hospitals, health visitors, community midwives, district nursing support, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, podiatry (chiropody) and school nursing services.
Cornwall Works
Cornwall Works recognises that some people have more barriers to returning to work than others, and that these barriers are many and varied. Through developing Cornwall Works as a partnership approach to delivering welfare to work support they can help people with health problems return to work and increase overall employment rates in Cornwall.
