The PSA 16 is linked into the ambitions for the area, outlined in both Bournemouth 2026 Strategy  and the Poole partnership - Sustainability strategy for Poole.

In their latest report on progress Public Service agreement 16, they report that they are still waiting for updates from officers. This highlights the challenge we already know exists in gathering data around employment within secondary mental health services.  Alongside their Primary Care Teams a wide range of groups are run. There is also extensive information about self help strategies available on the Dorset Health Care website.

Recovery Dorset is the second area of the South West to set up a dedicated website to promote recovery thinking in action.  The site is building stories of recovery to share what has worked for people.

There is also a dedicated site for Time to Change in Dorset, where a wide range of activities linking mental health awareness work is woven into local events. This work is supported by a wide range of organisations across the whole of Dorset.
