This conference covers a range of initiatives taking place to improve our health work and wellbeing in the South West. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn how the region is responding to the challenges and recommendations set out in the Dame Carol Black report ‘Working for a Healthier Tomorrow’.
It will also explore and examine how the region is putting the Social Exclusion policy into practice through developing work and learning opportunities for socially excluded adults. Finally the conference will see the launch of the ‘Health Work and Wellbeing’ programme led by the Regional Public Health team

This conference will appeal to a vast range of participants including employers, employees, health and social care professionals, learning and educational providers, HR professionals, voluntary sector and social enterprises.
It will be of special interest to those who are trying to re-enter the job market after mental ill health or who have learning disabilities, together with agencies that provide occupational support, advice and guidance.
