The implementation of the Mental Capacity Act and changes to the Mental Health Act, have left many professionals responsible for the treatment and care of individuals who have a mental disorder, confused and unsure, as to which legislation achieves the best outcomes, whilst protecting the individual’s rights, and working within legislative boundaries.
At the end of this event, attendees will have the knowledge required, to apply the correct legislation when providing treatment and care for those individuals who have a mental disorder.
